Prologue:

Once upon a time there was a beautiful land, the animals and the Plants lived in an almost Utopian era. There was a great Empress who kept peace in this world and the civilians helped as well making the world of Fantasy the core of any child’s dream. However, One day darkness spread across the land Killing and torturing many of the living things   inside it. Unable To fight against the darkness the empress was forced into a deep sleep but before doing so she gave 2 humans the gift to enter her world and the ability to save it.

Chapter 1:

Sevil shoved her hands in her pocket as she watched Eloise hover over the computer boredly putting her hand on her cheek. Sevil’s dark brown hair fell into her large brown eyes and light Oriental skin. She tightened her lips trying to decide if she should speak “Eloise?” she asked to call her friends Attention. Eloise’s green and yellow eyes glanced away from the computer and towards her friend. “I’m bored Eloise and I am only to be here for a few more hours can we please do something besides this?” she asked Uneasily for her answer Sevil didn’t want to leave without doing something Active.   Eloise answered with a smile as she got up “I guess we can go Hiking” she said hoarsely, Most recently the girls throat had given up on her from the cold she once had a few days before.   Sevil smiled back “I know where we can go! My teacher told me about this place called Drip rock that’s back there… Let’s go find it!” she said excitedly.
“How far is it?” Eloise asked her smile turned into a frown.
“About and hours walk” Sevil said looking at her with hopeful eyes.
“Oh no way Sevil that would kill my throat!” Eloise exclaimed standing up her golden short Blonde hair bounced into her face as she slid the seat under the desk.
“PLEASE!” Sevil begged, Eloise coughed from the strain in her throat from talking loudly. She shook her head Sharply making Sevil roll her eyes “Fine” Sevil said as she grabbed her coat and Eloise her boots as they got ready And made there ways out In the cool winter air.

The crunch of the Rotting leaves under them Were the only sounds made by the Forest as they walked along the unpaved Forest floor. Eloise had her shoulders raised slightly as she stuffed her hands in her pockets to keep warm. She could not find her gloves before she left and Sevil was the same as her, Hands in pockets and shoulders slightly raised as they walked. “Where are we going?” Eloise asked after some time, her throat began to sting and she began to cough terribly. Sevil bit her lip and was ready for Eloise’s yell. “To dripping rock” Sevil said in a soft voice looking back at Eloise. Eloise began to laugh, though it sounded more like a terrible cough, “Heh… Wow I thought that you just said we are going to dripping rock,” she said through chuckles.

Sevil found no humor in her words “we are,” Sevil answered to be welcomed by Eloise’s angry stare. “WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE ARE GOING TO DRIPPING ROCK!?” She said sharply and began to cough more hugging herself for warmth “this was a bad Idea…” she moaned unhappily.   Sevil smiled at her “Come on it will be fun I swear!” Sevil said as she kept her steady pace walking. Eloise sighed in a frown “We have another problem…” She said “I have to use the restroom” Eloise complained. Sevil frowned completely and heaved yet another sigh “well go use a tree!” she said as she stared at Eloise and then turned around as Eloise agreed to do so. But then Sevil heard Eloise’s scream and turned around to find her gone.

Chapter 2:
Sevil looked around in fear… “ELOISE!?” she yelled out walking in the direction where Eloise had headed. She saw what seemed like a dripping rock “ELOISE! ELOISE WE FOUND IT!” she yelled running to it. Suddenly came a flash of light and a cold feeling on Sevil’s skin. A bright light hit the girl’s faces and it had seemed to become colder as they woke up to a dark sight. The forest was not the one they remembered and it seemed to be cast over by some kind of gloom. “Look what you did now Sevil...” Eloise said angrily as she got up. “I didn’t-…. but-“she Kept cutting herself off trying to think of what to possibly say at this strange Event. “Eloise! How can you be calm about this!?” Sevil said as she jumped up from her sitting position. Eloise turned to Sevil looking at her with plain Amused eyes “Because this is so cool!” she cried out clasping her hands together as a smile grew upon her face. Eloise looked around in the gloom but something about this place was Magical!
“ELOISE LOOK!” Sevil yelled as Eloise whipped around to see a vine whip toward her ankle. Eloise instinctively moved away from the moving plant in fear “WHAT IS THAT THING!?” Eloise yelled as it retreated to a tree. “I don’t know but we better get away from here!” Sevil said as she took Eloise by the wrist and ran with the pale blonde. Until they came upon a cliff side. As Sevil caught her breath Eloise held hers to see the beautiful scene in front of them. A rising sun over a vast green plain and in the middle was a Palace made of sparkling crystal “SEVIL!” Eloise yelled out grabbing Sevil and making her fall over from surprise. “Look at that!” Eloise exclaimed pointing towards the glimmering palace. Sevil’s jaw dropped so suddenly it almost looked as if it would fall off. She caught her breath “Maybe…” she whispered looking toward the Beautiful Kingdom which glitter against the sun like a giant diamond “there is someone there that can tell us where we are and what’s going on” Sevil said.   As she looked down, there was only one Obstacle in there way from getting to the castle. The steep cliff they stood on seemed to glide into the sky for it was so high; the jagged rocks that jetted out of the cliff seemed like thorns. All was quiet suddenly to Sevil till she heard a whooping cough half way down the Cliff. Her eyes Moved sharply to the pale Eloise who had already made it half way down the dangerous cliff. About to call out Eloise’s name in surprise she stopped herself not wanted to make Eloise lose her concentration as she began down the cliff as well.
The Spiky rocks which seemed to sturdy were Wobbly and hard to keep balance. A few times both Eloise and Sevil almost fell off which would have killed them. It took ten minutes until they reached the soft green grass at the bottom. Their arms were sore from the muscle strength they used and the lack of breath. Eloise looked over towards the kingdom “Almost there” she said taking Sevil’s wrist and pulling her with Eloise. They walked morose across the green land both tired and hungry until they reached the large wooden doors of the glimmering kingdom. Eloise was the first to knock, and did so quite loudly as they could hear it echo through the halls likes whispers on the other side. And immediately the door was answered.

Chapter 3:
The man who answered looked no older then these two girls, His skin had a blue tent to it and markings upon his face, he only wore a strange line of pants and had silver almost white hair. He smiled at them, his teeth sparkled like pearls “we have been waiting for you two,” he said as he opened the door even wider to let the two girls inside. Eloise was hesitant and Sevil, Seeing Eloise’s reaction, Copied it. “Don’t be afraid” he said in almost a harmonic voice “this place may be strange.. But I wont hurt you” he said. Eloise frowned a bit and hesitated a little while longer as she watched the mans expression, then she began to walk inside Sevil   close behind.
The walls sparkled as if made out of a precious light blue stone and the same with the pearl white floors. It almost took the two girls breath away… But not quite. “My name is Adieus” he said as he walked. Eloise grabbed onto Sevil’s arm “this is Strange!” she sang in a whisper into Sevil’s ear. “Do you think we’re dead?” Sevil asked, Eloise answered the question with a stern “How in the world could you believe that” Face. Sevil shrugged at this look and continued to follow Adieus.
It took some time before they finally came to a large oak like door, Adieus   turned to the girls and took a breathe “What your about to see is astonishing and in fact a little disturbing” he stated. “However, before I can let you enter I must tell you why you two are here, Eloise… Sevil..” Then two girls looked surprised as he stated their names, they had never told him. “Along time ago our world, Ortha, Was the world that each human child would dream of going to till one fateful day darkness shrouded our land with its shadow. The Empress, to weak to fight it put herself in a deep sleep before she sent a gift to each of you.. the gift of entering this world of fantasy and take up the journey our empress left off on…” he said. “Wait a minute… You expect us to believe that?” Eloise asked as her eyebrows narrowed down and she stared at him. “Its not like we’re strange enough, come on Eloise lets just go” Sevil said taking hold of Eloise’s wrist.. but not fast enough before Adieus caught each of theirs “you’re a little shaken up but please, I beg of you to trust me!” he pleaded his eyes almost in tears,.
Eloise sighed as she stared at him “Fine, BUT you must tell us what we are suppose to do so we can officially decide if we should leave or not” she said, Eloise’s cough came back as she covered her mouth as she coughed painfully. “Are you sick?” Adieus asked, “No!” Eloise said rubbing her throat “just done being sick” she said. Adieus looked towards Sevil who was rubbing Eloise’s back gently before taking a deep breath. “You… Must find a key” he said in a soft tone, “I know it sounds Silly but the empress sealed her powers away in a key! If your find this key then you will be able to unlock her power and defeat the darkness!” he said as he turned away from them towards the door.   “Fine we’ll do it” Eloise sighed “WHAT!” cried sevil as she turned her head towards Eloise a little angry at this choice. “But my father will kill me Eloise!” Sevil said, “No worries!” Adieus chimed in “the time in your world goes much slower then the time in ours…” he said in almost a whisper “you will be home soon” he said. “Now” he said turning to the door “Its time to see what's behind the doors” he said pulling them open.

Chapter 4:

The room was filled with an invisible force of hopelessness, as if all of a civilization poured their despair into the crystal room. Besides that feeling the room glittered like a thousand stars not dulled by any moonlight, however the prettiest sight was one in a clear crystal case. The woman was pale and her lips a rose pink as they were set a little gapped showing her pearly teeth. Her strands of almost white blonde hair fell around her in tight beautiful curls framing her tall thin figure that wore a lacey gown. Her cheeks and chest were slightly painted with pink, metaphorically of course. Eloise almost spoke out the word wow and Sevil couldn’t keep it in as her eyes grew wide and she uttered words that no one but herself could here.
Even though the women was so beautiful, and seemed to only sleep, she seemed… dead. It was as if her will, her power, her true self had been whisked away somewhere forbidden. It was as if the women herself didn’t know where she was. “This…” said Adieus “Is the Empress” her touched the glass gently as if it would disturb the sleeping beauty. “She is very pretty” Eloise complemented as she looked up at Adieus whom looked back at her as well with a gentle smile “Of course she is, she has to be.. to be the empress... it is a long story, I may tell it another time” he said lifting is large manly hand from the glass. A long lingering silence fell upon the three, it was broken by Eloise’s painful cough. Adieus turned concerned “you sure your not sick,” he asked “for any weak being will be attacked by the darkness… if your sick I can’t send you back out there” he explained. “I AM NOT SICK! Jeez…” she mumbled crossing her arms.
“Now now you two” Sevil said looking at the two, “Eloise was sick a few days ago Adieus this is just the left over curse” she explained. “Oh.. I see” he said putting a finger in the air to signal for them to wait a moment “now that you two girls know who your fighting for” he stated, “then I must give you the rest of the necessities needed to start the journey.” He walked over to a large crystal book case that had seemed to have just appeared from no where. “That wasn’t there when we came in” Eloise whispered to Sevil who nodded and shrugged. “ah here it is” he said as he pulled out a book and tapped the book case twice, the book case seemed to sharply be drawn back by a force in the wall and disappeared. Eloise jumped back making a hiccuping noise in surprise.
Adieus lifted his head to see who had moved and made the strange sound, seeing Eloise stare at the wall   where the furniture had sunk into the wall. “This is Ortha Eloise, things will surprise you, here anything is not what it seems.” He opened the book flipping through it and closing it handing it to Eloise “since your more alert handle this book” he said. Eloise stared at the blank leather black cover, its pages seemed to be gold and completely solid however, when opened they turned completely white and the page shown like any regular page in an old book. Although, there was one problem the pages were blank!
“umm Adieus?” Sevil said looking up, he looked up at her raising his brow to acknowledge that she had a question for him. “The pages” Eloises continued as she flipped through them “there blank” sevil added for Eloise as the two girls looked up.

Chapter 5:

“Well of course the pages are blank… what use if a book when you don’t want to know something, the information in the book will appear to you when it’s needed or severely wanted.” Adieus had explained it so casually that the two girls felt a little stupid for asking. “Well Its so big how can I hold it all arou-“ she stopped in mid-sentence as the book shrank as small as a playing card. Sevil was the one who drew in a breath this time in surprise and Adieus only seemed amused by their reactions. Eloise however didn’t seemed the least bit surprised or amused “Get used to it Eloise” Eloise mumbled to herself “this is a magical world… things are not what they seem” with that she clutched the book with one hand . Eloise began to put it in her Jean pocket “Wait!” Adieus cried out which made Eloise stop “what?” she asked “Your not going to be wearing those clothes… so don’t put it there” he said drawing in a breath, the last thing he wanted was for the girls to lose that book.
“We’re not wearing our clothing?” Sevil asked stepping up “Then… what ARE we wearing?” Eloise chimed in confused. Adieus put the index finger up again as he walked back to a wall and an armoire emerges as he opened the foggy crystal doors and began to rummage through the contents inside. Sevil and Eloise had to of been standing there for about 20 minutes waiting because there legs began to throb terribly. Finally, adieus pulled out a brownish dress and a corset like belt and a dark green cloak and tossed it at Sevil “That’s yours,” he commented. He pulled out a skirt which had different colored elegant layers a white shirt and a real wenches corset which was about as colorful as the skirt “Eloise” said Adieus as he tossed it to her “that’s yours.”
Eloise examined her knew outfit and so did Sevil “why do we have to change?” Sevil asked him as she wrapped the dress around her arm. “Well you need to blend in don’t you? What your wearing is not from here…” he explained “so you need to wear that.” With that Eloise shrugged but Sevil still wanted answers "“here do we change?” Sevil asked “I don’t want to change in front of you” she said as she hugged the clothing to her chest. “Just go to a wall and touch it… it will know what to do” Adieus said , with that Eloise walked to a wall “lets see what happens Sevil” she said calmly, Eloise’s pale hand stroked the crystal wall, with that they wall seemed to jut out and completely surround her. Sevil jumped back a little in surprise as she walked to where a wall was and touched it as well. When the walls surrounded the girls stars seemed to fall around the like snow as soon as the landed around them the stars began to fly around their feet like flies. They began to rise until the stars made a complete cylinder around them. The walls covering them retreated back to where they came and the light that the stars ignited dimmed as the girls were completely dressed in what Adieus had given them.
“I could get used to that” Sevil said looking down at her clothing and made a bright smile as she looked up at the amazed Eloise. “Dressing rooms that literally dress you.. who knew?” Eloise commented, “Ok girls” Adieus chimed in “Its finally time for your leave, I hope everything will go well…” he said as he began to walk to the door. “Wait!” Eloise said “You haven’t told us anything about this darkness around us… How will we recognize it?” Eloise said following him now since he hadn’t paused to hear her words. Sevil followed as well as she bit her lip uncomfortable with the situation. “Its all in the book” Adieus said, Eloise began to cough again “Here” Adieus said handing her a glass vile that was hooked on the belt of his pants. “What is it?” Eloise asked as she shook the lime green fluid inside “Its like a temporary cough medicine… your cough will return when you get back to your world” he explained. Eloise frowned but opened the vile and drained the fluid from the glass tube. “Here you go,” Adieus said opening the door to the outside “I hope you don’t die” Adieus said and shut the door. “DIE!?” Eloise shouted pausing and looking back at the door in a panicky way.

Chapter 6:

Eloise sighed, It had been about four hours since they left the “castle” and still her nerves would calm down. What would happen to them? She wasn’t ready to risk her Life, Sevil on the other hand was calm, to her this was the adventure she had been waiting for. However, Sevil only thought this a dream. They must still be asleep from the night before since they were having a small sleep over together. Although, something kept tugging on her mind, nagging and screaming at it. She had the strangest feeling that at some point of this journey something bad was going to happen.

Eloise finally plopped to the ground exhausted and ready to rest, they were seven hours into their Adventure and Eloise still felt like her throat was ready to pull itself out from her mouth and scream at her. Apparently the man’s little concoction hadn’t completely worked yet and her throat throbbed terribly, however she hadn’t coughed once which means it was working partially. “Sevil,” She moaned as she flopped from a sitting position to laying face down on her stomach “As much as I want to continue, I can’t.. I just can’t… Plus it’s starting to get dark and we have no food, or fire… or shelter… maybe we should get started on that,” Eloise commented not moving one muscle. Sevil sat down tired as well, however it wasn’t like sevil to complain, she always wished to look strong, to BE strong so she acted the way she did because of that factor. “Ok, it’s a good Idea… I will find some wood and so on and you can go find food...” Sevil said putting her hands over her slender hips as she glanced around the gloomy forest. “Ok just give me a second and I will go” she said waving her hands unhappily up in the air in a very awkward and weird looking position, which only made Sevil laugh.

Sevil’s Journey for wood was an easy once, since they were surrounded by tree’s the wood came in plentiful bounds as if they were meant to camp at that spot . When Sevil returned Eloise was of course, gone, However Eloises journey for food was a more magical one. Once Sevil had left Eloise gave her two minutes to gather up her will power, strength, and energy to get up and search for something edible. Thanks to Sevil’s earlier lessons   Eloise knew what was good to eat and what was dangerous and anything in between. But it seemed different here, the tree’s and the leaves and the forest floor seemed to be the only normal “Earthly”   things around this place, and even they ahd a gloomy invisible glow. Eloise ran across strange purple spotted mushrooms, anything with purply spots must be terrible to eat. So, Sevils lessons didn’t come in handy here in these woods. Nothing seems right, Some plants didn’t even have roots, when you dug the plant would just fall over, nothing in the ground to keep its life meaningful, that was the meaning of plants to Eloise, to grow roots and work on keeping itself alive until eaten by an animal.   Other plants did a more surprising and awkward thing, they would jump right out of the hole as if they were animals themselves and scurry to another spot and dug there roots right back into the ground. Eloise’s journey took her to a lake, the moon had already come out and this was the first time Eloise saw it so big, It looks like a giant glorious eye keeping watch on the beings in this world, since the moon was so big the lake was nearly orange and the rest of the water seemed to have a silverfish glow.

“I don't know what to do” Eloise growled at herself sitting on a rock and hugging her knee’s. Her stubbornness was replaced with exhaustion and her will power with the need of sleep. Eloise closed her eyes and rest for a moment before she suddenly heard a tinkling sound, Like a small Christmas bell. Her head snapped up sharply at the strange sound, but there was nothing there. Then the sound came again, but this time behind her. She released her legs and turned around to be met with nothing but darkness. “Hello?” she called out , how stupid was that? To call out those words.. what if it was one of those evil things? It sound again except right inf ront of her and she turned her head to Face the being that made such an enchanting noise to find still, nothing there

Chapter 7:

Eloise finally had enough,   as she stood up sharply to where she heard the bell noise again, “not there’ said a voice behind her which made her freeze as she turned around. A glowing orb floated infront of her twinkling. It flew around her and as it did the bell sound was heard. Was this.. a.. a fairy? No that couldn’t be.. the voice had been male.. aren’t fairies women? The orb suddenly flew toward her and grew   turning into a full form of a man about three years older looking then Eloise was. The man had pointed ears and fair skin, his hair was almost white but his eyebrows and eyelashes were a brown color. His eyes were an enchanting icy blue and his wings dispersed into dazzling glitter. How wonderful a site he would have been if he hadn’t done the following, He flew straight into her face in a very fierce and firm manner. As if he was gonna attack. Eloise screamed as she fell over swatting at him like you would a fly. The fairy screamed mocking her and then began to laugh in   joy “that’d teach you! Servant of darkness!” he said swooping down towards her this time unsheathing a dagger. Eloise instinctively reached for the book adieus had given to her only hours ago, it grew as she pulled it open in front of her. The book’s pages blasted in light blinding the fairy making him fall backwards. You could here a splash and then the lights dimmed. The fairy had a blank look as he sat on the shallow end of the water.
“I am not working for the darkness” she growled annoyed, stupid fairies! “I was brought here by the empress..” she said thoughtlessly. As the book shrunk and she stuffed it back into her belt. “The Empress!?” the fairy said which Immediately made Eloise bite her lip.. “I don’t think I was suppose to say that” she muttered sheepishly, “How is that possible? The empress is asleep.. or… Hibernating.. oh what did they call it?” he asked himself and shook his head. “You lie!” he challenged standing up “oh so these books happen to be everywhere” she said pulling the book out once more and it grew. “Oh.. yeah” The fairy said as he rubbed his chin. “What are you then? Why did she choose you? Why would you be so special?” he said slightly annoyed as if he was offended. “I don’t know.. I am only human” she said, why was she speaking to him? “HUMAN!” he yelled quite loud a smile spread across his face “about time.. excuse me for earlier.. I am Kele prince of the star fairies” he   said bowing. Finally Eloise completely looked at him. He was well built and wore fur pants and leaves around one shoulder down to the opposite waist. His skin seemed to glitter as if it was rubbed by a shiny stone.. or maybe it was sweat. “Prince… of fairies?” she said “Star fairies.. there are different kinds you know” he said.
“I thought fairies were suppose to be small.. and, well earthy” she said, he seemed more like an angelic being then an earthly being. “Look” he said sighing annoyed himself “There are four types fo fairies” he said holding up all four of his fingers “There is the earth fairies… the more typical and well known fairies because there are so many, then the water fairies.. more known as sirens… then star Fairies… Like us not very well known, then the shadow Fairies… they are in league with the darkness and look more like vampires” he said. Eloise rubbed her temple “I don’t have time for this.. your so odd and confusing I need to get back to sevil” she said “after I find food”.
“I can help you with that.. I know where some food is for you and your friend” he said making eloise stop and turn around.
